GeoTrends, based in Austin, Texas, was founded
in 2001 to help quantitative marketers
through a comprehensive approach. When
applying marketing analytics, many people
have a fragmented view of the methods
and data. At GeoTrends, we know the usual
sources of off-line data, as well as how
to squeeze the most information from your
transaction data. GeoTrends is unique
in being able to combine the best of more
traditional database marketing methods
with geographic data to obtain a synergy
between the two.
The GeoTrends founder, Matt Harris, was also
one of the founders of Trajecta, a high-end data
mining company, where he was the VP of Analytic
Services. Prior to that Matt worked as a consultant
and trainer in the application of statistical
methods, and also worked during the 1980's with
IBM in several capacities.
